India’s top-order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara, who scored a fine 86 in his first innings against the Windies at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot, did something probably no other international cricketer ever has.
Pujara, who stitched together a 206-run partnership with debutant Prithvi Shaw, carried a small water bottle in his pocket to keep himself hydrated in Rajkot’s gruelling weather conditions.
In a short video posted by BCCI on its Twitter handle, Puja𝔉ra was seen drinking water during the over break and then kept🐲 the water bottle back in his pocket to resume batting.
Beating Rajkot's heat, Pujara's way 🆒😎
