Raksha Bandhan is one of the most popular festꦯivals in India. It signifies the bond between a brother and a sister. This year, the festival of love and affection was celebrated across the country on Sunday (August 26).
During the festival, a sister ties a rakhi on her brother’s hand and pray for his healthy and wealthy life. In return, the brother also wishes for his sister’s pleasant life, and gifts her goodies like dresses, chocolates, teddies and other gift items.
Indian cricketers also celebrated the auspicious occasion with their beloved sisters’ and posted special messages for them on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
