South Africa’s wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock missed a stumping on the second day of the ongoing Wanderers Test after he was stung by a bee.
Yes, you read it right!
Quinton de Kock was stung by the bee at the exact same time as he attempted to collect the ball behind the wickets. He couldn’t collect the ball letting Shaun Marsh, who was on 15 at the time, off the hook.
Marsh came down the pitch to drive a Keshav Maharaj’s delivery that beat his outside edge. But as de Kock was about to retrieve the ball, he stopped and let it roll away, he was stung by the bee on his upper left arm.
De Kock flicked the bee away and tried to pull out the sting while th꧂e ball trickled awa🔯y for a bye.
Here’s the video:
After all that has happened in the last few days, the Aussies have resorted to asking insects to help ♏them.
