India’s most successful skipper MS Dhoni has stepped down from the captaincy and Virat Kohli is the new Indian skipper but if you saw the☂ second T20I played between India and England at Nagpur, you should know that in the last over of the match when team England needed just 8 runs in the final over, it was the former captain Dhoni, who was in c📖harge of the proceedings.
Well, captain Kohli has been taking Dhoni’s help since the 1st ODI played at Pune. And on Sunday, things were not any different. After the end of every over, Kohli went to Dhoni to discuss an idea or two.
When it comes to defending low totals, MSღD is a genius and Kohli 💧is well aware of this.
In the 2nd T20I,𝔉 especially in the last over, Dhoni unofficially took charge of Team India. This was also because Kohli was fielding at long on and since he has one of the best arms in the Indian team right now so it was crucial to have the best throwers near the boundary line.
It was then Dhoni was seen adjusting the field. He also asked Yuvraj Singh, fielding at short fine-leg to go a ෴little squarer.
Ashish Nehra also went up to Dhoni ꦛbefore the last over to advice him the field as if D꧅honi was leading the side.
While, when all this happened, Kohli was a mere spectator at the long-on position. Kohli knew that he had little to offer as captain from the boundary so it was better that Dhoni ha𓃲d a look at the field and brought minor changes ifไ required.
We all know, Kohli is right now learning the craft of caꦆp🔜taincy from Dhoni and the great thing is that he is not ashamed about it.
Earlier, Dhoni himself during a press-conference had said that unofficially he will play the role of a vice-captain because being a wicket-keeper it always helps to aꦦdjust the𒆙 field.
