She was born in Chennai, to Mrs. Wendy Rao, an𒅌 Anglꦡo-Indian and Dr. N.V. Rao, a Telugu – German Descent. She has 3 older siblings: a sister and 2 twin brothers.
2.) Rochelle’s inspiration is her sister
After finishing her education at M.O.P Vaishnav College for Women in Chennai, she was influenced by her sister Paloma Rao, who is having a successful VJ and anchoring career. Paloma made Rochelle’s career confusion clear, thanks to her sister.
3.) First opportunity and the rest is history
She participated in Pantaloons Femina Miss India South Indi🧸a Beauty Pageant 2012 and ended her debut best as the runner up. The next opportunity was a fortune for her, she won Femina Miss India International title of the year 2012.
